Liverpool have had a fantastic run of late which has seen them near enough cement their top-four spot and it seems like there’s not going to be much let up in the final few weeks, as Klopp looks to continue this run to gain momentum for a big season next year. Indeed, qualifying for the Champions League is a must for the German coach this season.
Liverpool have some huge matches coming up until the end of the year as they bid to keep in the top four and remain in touching distance of rivals United, just in case of a late slip. Many of our bar stalwarts believe that Liverpool are the side to watch out for and a sprinkle of youth at this stage of the campaign would only add to the team.
While Klopp looks to still replace the departed Philippe Coutinho and bed in a new centre-back pairing, he may look to the Liverpool u23’s for a little something different until the end of the season, for the chance to impress. Indeed, blooding some youngsters over the next few weeks could prove beneficial for next season.

Following a move from Lucan City, Masterson has played 17 times so far in the u23’s this season. With the capture of Virgil Van Dijk, Klopp may look to fuse together a new partnership at the back going forward. Alongside the Dutchman, a new hero may emerge for those at Anfield at long last.
A mix of experience and youth may be the way forward for Klopp as he aims to eradicate the early season defensive problems and work on building a proper foundation.
The goal getting left winger could be used to reshape Klopp’s forward line. The 18-year-old has helped himself to four goals and four assists in 16 games this season already for the u23’s and shows signs of maturing way past his years.
With the creative play of Coutinho now firmly in the past, Klopp will want someone to come in and put his fair share of goals into the team alongside the devasting front three and Woodburn could be that player.
